My first attempt at Amigurumi :

This amigurimi carrot was done with an E hook. Red Heart sport yarn for the carrot, and mystery sport green yarn for the greens on top.
I got the pattern from a book:

I crocheted this for a friend's one year old son...and it may be the only one that I EVER do. It created much, much swearing and yelling...I prefer not to revisit the experience.
I got this pattern from a little crochet binder from a now-defunct publisher; it was given to me by my grandmother. This pattern is circa 1983.
I did this with Red Heart Sport Yarn - in eye searing yellow and orange. Hope you like
